The Studio Play The Video

In October 2014, we started our journey by bringing Equinox Design to life. Our aim was simple: To add structures to the city’s timeline that would stand the test of time. A boutique architecture and interior design studio, Equinox Design is focused on creating custom designs through a rigorous process, led by the young and talented architect and artist Naisargi Dave Zankar. The team at Equinox Design excels in taking up design challenges and producing incredible results. Our design is filled with visuals of clean lines and forms that allow the architecture, space, light, and materials to coexist in a harmonious spatial relationship. The design we create is a unique reflection of the values of our clients, with a touch of timelessness and serenity. Our design proficiency includes Residencies, Workspaces – small firms & corporate offices, salons, retails, Leisure – Weekend Homes, Clubhouses, Theatres, F&B – Cafés, Restaurants, Restro-bars, Exhibitions, Schools and Hospitals.

The Architect

Hailing from the expansive city of Rajkot, young architect Naisargi Dave Zankar is the brain behind Equinox Design. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology (SCET), Surat, Gujarat. She has specialized in Space Design because of her love for art and all things design. She has worked with renowned architecture firms, such as Play Architecture – Bengaluru, RJBX – Mumbai, and IDO Design – Ahmedabad. In 2004, she decided to forge her own path by starting her own design studio focused on architecture and interior design. She has been faculty at Marwadi University (Rajkot) and Indubhai Parekh School of Architecture (IPSA) (Rajkot) catering to the subjects of Design studio, Basics of design, & History of architecture. She is an IGBC accredited professional since 2018. Her love for design has translated into performing arts as well and she holds the distinction of Visharad in Bharatanatyam. Watercolor painting is another one of her passions that she pursues actively.
